The authors of The Brain Train are
Frances Meiser, Susan Lee, and Nina Anderson.
Illustrations are by Scott Johnstone.

The Brain Train is designed to keep the child's interest and to deliver a message that they can carry throughout their lives. This book is appropriate for school reading and  health classes, as well as for family story-telling. 

 

Frances Meiser

Profile:
Frances Meiser has a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood
Development and an M.Ed. In Reading and Literacy. Her extensive post graduate studies include Slingerland Reading, neuroldevelopment and learning efficiencies. She studied at The HANDLE Institute - a Holistic Approach to Neuroldevelopment & Learning Efficiency and with Dr. Lynn Weiss (ADHD specialist), has had Brain Gym Training from the Educational Kinesiology Foundation, and training with Carla Hannaford Ph.D. author of SMART MOVES - The Physiological Basis of Learning. She is a coach, consultant, trainer, educator of educators, author of THE BRAIN TRAIN and SENIOR MOMENTS, and Executive Director of The Brain Train Center.

Frances faced a dysfunctional future due to her experience with panic disorder and a diagnosis of ADHD at age fifty. Since then, she has spent the last several years reading, studying and participating in activities and educational experiences that enhance her abilities to function "normally" and enjoy life to the fullest. She brings this joyful value of life into her workshops and presentations. Frances has been presenting this knowledge to numerous groups since 1996.


Nina Anderson

Nina Anderson is a researcher, author, and lecturer. She has been active in the alternative health field for over twenty years, and has co-authored eight books, including A.D.D., "The Natural Approach." She is founder of the non-profit agency "The Scientific Alliance for Education", which promotes learning in the areas of A.D.D., substance abuse, chronic fatigue, and diseases of aging. 


 

Susan Lee

Profile:
Susan is currently the Director of Program Development for the Brain Train Center. She has been involved with teaching and training the practical application of brain enhancement to teachers, adults, and school children the past three years.

Previously, Susan has worked with a wide variety of businesses and individuals, including many people with different learning styles. Before founding Organized Solutions in 1991, an organizing and focus coaching company, Susan was the manager of a non-profit organization in Austin, Texas for 2 years and was a medical Technologist certified with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists for 9 years.

  • M.Ed. in Reading and Literacy
  • B.S. Degree in Biology from the University of Houston
  • Certificate from Edukin/Brain Gym Training
  • Certificate from Carla Hannaford Ph.D./Smart Moves - the Physiological Basis of Learning.
  • Certificate from the HANDLE INSTITUTE - Holistic Approach to Neurodevelopment and Learning Efficiency
  • Trainer of the Brain Train Program for Elementary School Children

Speciality:
Susan has been the co-creator and co-creative coach for The Brain Train book, project and business plan since its inception in 1996. She has completed numerous studies involving mind/body perfection, whole brain integration, and train the trainer.

Helping each person realize their fullest potential and doing it in their own creative way.
