Does My child Really Need Drugs?
or
Is There A Better Solution To Behavior
And Learning Problems?

Root Causes of Poor Reading

Alternatives To Ritalin

Did you know that the documented side effects of drugs used for AD/HD include psychosis, paranoia, aggression, heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias and high blood pressure? (See Dr. Mary Ann Block, No More Ritalin.)

After conferring with leading experts, the National Institutes of Health (1998) concluded there is no scientific evidence to validate AD/HD as a neurobiological brain disorder. They stated there is no valid way to actually diagnose AD/HD.

With no established disease known as AD/HD, the obvious questions are:

Does My child Really Need Drugs?
or
Is There A Better Solution To Behavior
And Learning Problems?

We now know there are underlying developmental, nutritional and learning issues that can cause attention and behavior problems. Evaluation and habilitative methods used by The Brain Train Center recognize and address these underlying issues.

Educational Thereapy

As educational therapists, we are trained to help in habilitating the learning disabled child so that s/he can move beyond their learning differences and become independent and flexible learners. We help them discover the root causes of these differences and become independent and flexible learners. We help them discover the root causes of these differences and offer alternative solutions that address the needs of each individual with whom we work.
