After conferring with leading experts, the National Institutes of Health (1998) concluded there is no scientific evidence to validate AD/HD as a neurobiological brain disorder. They stated there is no valid way to actually diagnose AD/HD. With no established disease known as AD/HD, the obvious questions are: Does My child Really Need Drugs? We now know there are underlying developmental, nutritional and learning issues that can cause attention and behavior problems. Evaluation and habilitative methods used by The Brain Train Center recognize and address these underlying issues.
