After conferring with leading experts, the National Institutes of Health (1998) concluded there is no scientific evidence to validate AD/HD as a neurobiological brain disorder. They stated there is no valid way to actually diagnose AD/HD.

We now know there are underlying developmental, nutritional and learning issues that can cause attention and behavior problems. Evaluation and habilitative methods used by The Brain Train Center recognize and address these underlying issues.

Based on the latest scientific brain research and the brain's own ability to continually change in response to stimulation, movement, environment and nutrition, disorders are usually reversible.

As educational therapists, we are trained to help in habilitating the learning disabled child so that s/he can move beyond their learning differences and become independent and flexible learners.
